Welcome to The Cozy Loon Cabin in Cable, Wisconsin, an architecturally designed home nestled in the heart of Wisconsin's enchanting Northwoods twenty feet from the tranquil shores of Little Bass Lake. Covering 2,300 square feet spread across three levels and sitting on 1.4 acres of woodland splendor, this cabin has been crafted with distinct Scandinavian influences to encapsulate the serene ambiance of its natural surroundings.
Little Bass Lake is a peaceful haven free from motorized watercraft; our cabin serves as your personal gateway to many silent sports activities. Whether it's hiking through lush trails, mountain biking on the more than 300 miles of scenic CAMBA trails nearby, cross-country skiing on the glistening snow of the 100-plus kilometers of the Birkie trail system, paddling the National Wild and Scenic Namekagon River (Wisconsin's Moving National Park) or launching your canoe/kayak/paddleboard from our private dock, this retreat has something for every nature lover.
Stepping inside, you're welcomed by an open-plan living area adorned with large, expansive windows that beautifully frame the stunning lake views. The light-filled interior creates an inviting space that marries the timeless appeal of rustic woodwork with the clean lines and minimalist aesthetic of Scandinavian design. We have curated an inspiring collection of art throughout the space.
Our private dock provides a serene spot for watching loons and other wildlife, fishing, basking in sunsets, admiring the stars under the darkest skies in Wisconsin, or launching your paddleboard for an adventure on Little Bass Lake.
For those balancing work and leisure, our cabin features a dedicated workspace with high-speed fiber internet (250 Mbps) that offers a serene environment for productivity. When the workday ends, retreat to one of our two entertainment spaces in the loft and the basement, each equipped with a TV for relaxation. Please use the games and books during your stay!
Our property is now equipped with an Electric Vehicle (EV) Charger. This is a 50 amp NIMA 14-50 outlet. There is a small daily fee for using the EV Charger, and please bring your own charging cord.
For our silent sports enthusiasts, we offer a locked storage area for securing your bikes, along with wall hangers for both Fat Tire and Road bikes. There is also a tire air pump, a small bike repair tool kit, a workbench, a bike repair stand, a bike washing station, two kayaks and paddles, and a glove and boot dryer. Coming soon (4 pairs of snowshoes, indoor ski and snowshoe storage rack, 2-person wood canoe, and paddles) We are always looking for more ways to serve the silent sports community, so please reach out with ideas.
At The Cozy Loon Cabin, we've harmoniously fused nature's tranquility with modern convenience and stylish design.
